Superior Stockyard is proud to announce the return of the 2nd Annual 2026 New England Operator Challenge Competition. Operators will test their skills against those of fellow operators around the Northeast to determine who can claim the title of "best."

Think you’ve got what it takes to be crowned the best operator in New England? The Stockyard New England Operator Challenge returns to the Goshen Stampede for 2026, bringing together operators from across the region to compete in a series of excavator skill challenges built to test precision, control, and composure under pressure. From tire stacking and ring hangs to precision drops and technical obstacle courses, competitors will battle for prizes, bragging rights, and the championship belt. Whether you’re a seasoned operator or just looking to put your skills to the test, this is your chance to step into the cab and prove yourself.

We will have a different prize for each day.

The 2026 Stockyard New England Operator Challenge Competition will be held...

Saturday June 13, from 3-6pm,

½ Day Machine Rental from Superior Stockyard (delivery not included) – Est Value: up to $300

Sunday June 14, from 12-3pm.

A Bucket Full of Tools/Goods from the Superior Stockyard Store – Est Value: up to $250

Additionally, this year's Stampede weekend is especially meaningful to our team. A local family suffered an unimaginable tragedy and one of our managers' families has a close connection to Olivia and her family through the local school community, and we wanted to do our small part to help. All proceeds collected during the Stampede weekend will be donated to support Ty and Lauren through their GoFundMe campaign below.
