Rental Insurance Instructions

Before renting certain equipment from Stockyard, we require proof of insurance coverage. To make the process easy:

1. Download the insurance requirements PDF for the machine you plan to rent.

2. Send the PDF to your insurance provider so they can issue a Certificate of Insurance (COI).

3. Make sure your provider lists Stockyard Rentals LLC as:

   • Additional Insured on liability coverage

   • Loss Payee on property coverage

4. Email the COI to Coop@stockyard.supply or kyle@stockyard.supply at least 24 hours before your rental.

Insurance Requirements Overview

All rental customers must maintain and carry insurance at their own cost, including:

• Commercial Auto Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 per occurrence (only required if equipment is licensed for road use or if you haul it yourself).

• Commercial General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate.

• Property Insurance: Full replacement cost of the equipment (manufacturer’s price, covering risk of loss/damage).

Stockyard requires a 30-day cancellation notice from the insurer.

Stockyard Rentals LLC requires that all insurance policies are primary, non-contributory, and include waivers of subrogation against Stockyard Rentals LLC or its insurers. Any deductibles or self-insured retentions are the sole responsibility of the customer.
